Streamline Business is kicking off a new service offering business owners who find themselves alone in the leadership of their organization, but needing advice, feedback and a forum for discussion that goes beyond a traditional boardroom.

Created to help businesses stay on top of outside trends and influences, both within and outside of their particular industry, the BAB meets with the business owner to provide assistance in organizational development and infrastructure, corporate strategy and growth.  The diversity of experience lends itself to gaining outside perspective on client expectations, operational assessment, and tactical advice. The group is comprised of professionals who understand business and can address the unique concerns that individual business owners face.  Additionally, these same BAB members are available by phone and email to the business owner 'between meetings' to address quick questions or curbside opinions that fall within their expertise.

Non-Profits adopt 'Standards of Excellence' in effort to further self regulation

There are hundreds of non-profit organizations currently operating in Maryland.  Forty two of these now have the designation of earning the ''Seal of Excellence'' from the newly established Standards for Excellence Institute.

Initiated early this summer by The Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organization, the program has been established in an effort to promote excellence and integrity in nonprofit organizations. Proactively seeking to quell any concerns that may run over from the private sector scrutiny of CEO's ethical practices, MANPO establishes benchmarks for accountability and offers training and education to help non-profits acheive their goals and become accredited. Streamline Business is currently putting together a step-by-step process to assist non-profits interested in certification.
